Hello. I tried installing Fork locally with MAMP 2.0.5. I placed the folder (which I named "fork1") in my htdocs folder.
I changed the document root to "/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/fork1" and proceeded with installation.

Before this I created a database called "em". Its located in "mamp/db/mysql/em".
When I got to the page to add the database i got this:
INSTALL FORK CMS Database configuration A database connection could not be established. Enter your database details. Make sure this database already exists. Hostname : localhost:3306 If you are working locally, your hostname is probably localhost. Database em Make sure this database is empty! Username root Password root

MAMP is now not letting me open the "start page" for some reason so I cant check or create a new database.
But it should it should be lined up? I didnt assign a user name or password to the DB, is "root" just the default?

Any advice on getting fork up and running locally would be helpfull.
Thanks!
