Support for html5 input types like "email", "phone", "number", "url", ...

When using a device (phone, tablet) on completing a form,
I want to be able to change the users keyboard type depending on the input type of the field.

Is this already possible? (searched in code, but didn't find something like this)
If not, this would be an improvement!

you can use ->setAttribute('type', 'email'); on textfields if I'm not mistaken.
