events (hooks)

Triggered events have no idea which module triggered them. This means every callback has to be tailor made to fit the needs of a certain module.

I suggest passing the "from module" (maybe even from action?) and the "event name" to the queue as well. This enables a callback to react with more intelligence.

Example: a module responsible for sending an e-mail message is subscribed to a certain event. The event is fired. The module can now send data to the admin regarding this event and base certain parameters (specific template? message? full_url to modified post? etc..)

Thoughts?

Thanks!
