Hi simon. I dont think it is a requirement when a new cms hits the streets a gallery upload plugin must be included...

You can always take the initiative and write one yourself.

I wrote one myself but it is closed source.
If you are interested you can contact me or search the forum. There is a thread allready.

From my point of view, it's a must. I work as a front-end developer and cms with many plugins is very appreciated. That's my ponit of view. I think there's many ppl like me, that search for a good, well equipped platform to server their clients.

Agreed with Simon. A media gallery(audio/video/images) and ofcourse an events calendar are few of the very basic modules/features to be present in a CMS.

We create a photogallery + event module.
They will be available soon on fork-cms-modules.com (currently in dev.)
