Exporting blogposts

It would be nice to have a way to export your blogposts easily if you need to install fork again.
For example if you would like to use a new major release, Fork 4 or so

    I understand the question, but your example isn't valid. The major release can introduce breaking changes. So for instance a DB-change for the blog-module. Which makes the export-functionality kinda useless.

    Maby you should create an action that exports to an XML file.
    And later use the "import_blogger.php" action to insert the items again?

    import_blogger.php is outdated and you shouldn't use this anymore.
