I'm looking for a way to restrict access to the backend. Only a certain IP address should be able to access the backend loginform. This would will increase security.

There's definitely some .htaccess rule out there that does this, but I'm not finding it. Can someone help? Thanks.

Found a solution by adding a second .htaccess file in the /backend directory and adding these rules:

    Order Deny,Allow
    Deny from all
    Allow from x.x.x.x
