Quick newbie theme question

Hello,

I am a newbie with content management systems,
I know how to handle html and css and have basic php knowledge.

I have a wordpress website and had a developer make me a theme for it for which I paid full ownership rights.
Now I'd like to recycle that theme for a lightweight version of a friend's website and for this project I was thinking of using Fork.

Is "porting" a wordpress theme to Fork possible or am I going to waste my time?
Both wordpress and fork use php so I assume it shouldn't be too hard to understand where to edit and how, am I mistaken?
I also assume it will take a bit of time but less than just re-creating the whole theme, am I mistaken here too?

Let me know.

I should mention I already have a pseudo-working html/css version of the theme we're talking about, lacking cms-driven functionalities like blogging.

    Hi Robert

This forum isn't supported anymore as Fork CMS had its own forum now.
Chance that they will help you there is bigger than here.
